North Arcana (2021)
I was approached by a friend of mine to help design a logo for their Dungeons & Dragons inspired business. They were unsure at the time where they wanted to take their platform, and so needed a highly customisable logo that can overarchingly represent the company as a whole. Streaming was a potential route for them, so they requested an animated element as well, but nothing too detailed yet.
I came up with a very sleek and simple modern logo, with an intricate frame representing D&D dice. The frame is also made to be customised as they need it to be to fit with various medias, leaving the type at the fore front of the logo. We settled on a contrasting colour scheme of blue and a yellow that makes the logo pop with this golden shine - referencing the importance and notoriety of gold in D&D as well as a nod to their audience.
North Arcana was adapted into an artisan dice company, heralded by a solo creative who makes custom dice for tabletop play. You can see the logo in use on their Instagram here.
